Words of Inspiration | Everything happens by attraction – the law of attraction is real in business
The amount of times I have had a Pharmacist Manager tell me “Ever since we performance managed this troubled employee out, the whole business has changed. All the other staff are happier, the customers are happier, we seem busier, and sales are going up!”.
Did you know that there is an energetic component to running a business? Yes that’s right. It is imperative to have positive energy throughout your business. Harmonious relations between leaders and their team leads to more sales, harder working staff (higher productivity), positive comments from customers, and hence more profits. And the converse is true too – if relations are strained or if someone is consistently negative, then eventually business issues will arise such that sales will be affected, productivity will drop, and profits will either stagnate or spiral downward.
This energetic principle applies in every aspect of running a pharmacy group (like Star Pharmacy Group) as well – it is imperative that all business owners and managers in Star Pharmacy Group operate in a spirit of harmony, trust and cooperation. It is also important that should someone not be in this spirit state, that they either change and become harmonious ASAP – if not, they need to move on. This same principal applies to friendships, marriage and any relationship – there is an energetic component to all human endeavours. Birds of a feather will flock together and when they do, their flight will be seamless and effortless.
I encourage you to aim to bring the spirit of harmony in each of your businesses by leading your life being in harmony with everyone. Harmonious relations are a skill (mindset skillset) that is nurtured and developed. Ways to restore harmony include (but not limited) the following:
1. Having conscious positive thoughts about the other person and negating any negative thoughts that come into your mind
2. Consciously beginning the process of giving – compliments, gifts and appreciation
3. Developing an attitude of gratitude for everything in your life and if nothing else were to come into your life (yes no further money, no new cars, no more holidays, nothing at all) that you would be eternally gratefully for all you have
When you become good at creating harmony, the universe will reward you with many more good things in life – one of those will be a better business.
