In Napoleon Hill’s bestselling book “Think & Grow Rich”, one of the key messages for us all to take on board is that thoughts are real and not only are they real, but when consistently activated, they turn into physical creation. Everything that man (or woman) has created on Earth was once a thought. Through concentration of thought, it gradually appeared into our physical reality – buildings, parks, playgrounds, cars, shops, clothes, and so forth all were once a thought.
The question I have for you is “If you could have the desires of your heart, that is, achieve the goal or goals you really want in life, would you commit to using this incredible gift of the mind to help construct thought into reality?”. One of the very first things you can do to set you into motion in the direction of your goal(s) is to affirm your goal in a statement many times each day along the lines “I am so happy and grateful now that [ insert the goal you are grateful for ] it is so. Thank you”.
The secret to achieving effective affirmations is to not merely say the statement (in other words you are declaring something over your life) but to also mix it with effective emotions. What are effective emotions? These are for example, the positive emotions of love, joy, or gratitude (thankfulness). How do we access these effective emotions? We access them by thinking of something in the past or future that will activate these emotions – so we think of situations that bring a feeling of love, or joy, or thankfulness. Once we activate the emotions we then affirm the statement. We thus mix the statement with the emotion and this is how we impregnate this incredible seed of creation into our subconscious mind. Once our subconscious mind is activated this way, it will gradually take over and guide us with other thoughts, help us to notice important people and events that could help us, and give us the intuition to act at the right time.
We are all created with the incredible gift of co-creation (we create our world with our Creator) through the effective use of our mind and the power of thought. Let’s use this correctly to create a better world for ourselves, for our loved ones, for our community, and our world. It is up to us whether we want to create a heavenly world through the right application of thoughts or if we choose to create a world with problems and darkness.
I encourage you to desire to create for yourself and those around you a world of joy, peace, love and gratitude.
Live with passion, purpose and always be at peace.
