Joel Abraham has over 20 years of commercial experience as a business owner, CEO, investor, director and coach to 100’s of Australian SME’s. Between 2005-2018, Joel was the CEO of Australian Institute of Business and during this time led the business through the turnaround from a small family-business to become the largest MBA provider in Australia and one of the largest private higher education institutions in Australia.
In 2016, Joel led a sale process that resulted in a top- decile Australian private equity firm acquiring 50% of the business. Joel stayed on as CEO until his exit from the role in 2019, and still maintains a board seat and significant equity position.
For the last 5 years Joel has worked with 100’s of SME owners across Australia, and successfully navigated virtually every business model, industry and challenge.
